Slowly winding towards a deep library of carefully made ales and lagers.

Our goal is to generate a deep library of ales and lagers, drawing inspiration from the world around.

In general, we look towards a combination of old world tradition, new research-based advances in brewing materials and techniques, and what happens in nature for the beers we make. We operate under a strong Belgian influence. And then, of course, there are the beers we make just because they’re fun to drink.

REMINDER ABOUT GROWLERS- we have 32 oz growlers with a small cap. If you’d like to bring in your own growler to fill, please make sure it’s clean, and bring in a cap for it if it has a wider mouth.

    Plain Knowledge

    Belgian style Amber Ale. Notes of plum and bread, with notes of roasted malt. 6% ABV.

    West Coast leaning IPA. More malt forward, more bitter, notes of pine, grapefruit, and orange. 6.4% ABV

    Malt forward, mild bitterness, slightly fruity American amber ale. 5% abv

    Belgian-style tripel with honey. Dry, effervescent. Bottle conditioned with additional honey. 750ml bottle, 9.2% abv.

    American Stout. Strong elements of roast, dark chocolate, some hop bitterness. Drier. 6% ABV

    Our yearly imperial stout. Deep and dark, rich, notes of smoke and chocolate and citrus. With liquid cocoa and blood orange. 10.2% ABV.

    British style pub ale- smooth, easy drinking, light British crispness. 4.1% ABV.

    Bright, slightly hazy, crisp hop character from Nelson Sauvin and a whole mess of other hops. 5.8% ABV

  • Ambush of Widows

    Farmhouse pale ale with blueberries and Strata hops. Brisk juiciness, notes of grapefruit. 6.3% ABV

  • VBA30

    Hoppy (and decently bitter) hoppy English ale. Tawny gold, light haze. Bright malt backbone, drier, herbal and floral hop character.

  • Smokey Batch of Pancakes

    Beech smoked ale. Smooth, deep smoke, dry finish. 5.1% abv

  • Meal Ticket

    Milk stout. Rich, dark, smooth. Contains lactose, 5.4% abv

  • Lament of the Golden Metal Man

    Pre-Prohibition lager. Deep golden color, malt forward, easy drinking, mild hop bitterness to the finish. 6% ABV
